中國國民黨智庫國家政策研究基金會國家安全組召集人林郁方今天表示，南海仲裁將太平島降為礁，南海軍備競賽恐無可避免，他建議總統蔡英文登島，陸戰隊也應進駐。
國家政策研究基金會上午舉行「拒絕南海仲裁結果，捍衛南海主權」記者會，林郁方表示，仲裁沒執行機制，的確像張廢紙，就要回到實力原則，未來南海某種軍備競賽可能無法避免，台灣應預做準備。
他說，目前民主進步黨的回應軟弱無力，沒嚴正抗議或軍事動作，這不對。他建議蔡總統登太平島宣示主權，帶回太平水，可送駐華使節，也應把陸戰隊送回太平島。
此外，林郁方表示，台灣大學法律學院教授姜皇池稱太平島周圍八○○公里沒漁船作業，但昨天他聯繫小琉球漁會總幹事，絕對有漁船進入太平島八○○公里作業，八○○公里是很大範圍，姜皇池有調查過嗎？
輔仁大學日本語文學系教授何思慎呼籲政府，捍衛主權沒藍綠之別，這次仲裁是危機，但在國際社會對台灣不公平狀況之下，對內應形成台灣共識，堅持對南海諸島主張的主權範圍不能後退。
